Vision

A vibrant New Orleans where every young person has access to high quality sport-based youth development programs.

Mission

To align sport for development efforts around a shared agenda and create a platform for cross-sector stakeholders to effectively work together to improve universal access to sports-based youth development for young people in New Orleans.

About Our Team

Stewart Young has built and managed youth development programs for the last 25 years across the globe.  Through working for a detached youthwork program in Belfast, a group home in South Africa and a surfing and mentoring program in South Central Los Angeles, Stewart understands what it takes to deliver high quality programs in a variety of community settings.  And after coaching his own son’s initial soccer journey and helping to found Louisiana Rugby. Stewart is excited to be able to support the long term growth of Sport for Good programs in his hometown of New Orleans and across the Laureus network

Tiffany Aidoo has dedicated her years of experience to sport as a catalyst for youth development.  Prior to joining Laureus Foundation USA, she managed Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s NOLA FOR LIFE Midnight Basketball Program.  This program was part of the Mayor’s comprehensive murder reduction strategy.  In her role, she offered a safe recreational activity along with scholarship, educational, workforce development and mentorship opportunities.  There she was also able to advocate and cultivate important relationships with the NBA and local stakeholders and community partners.  Tiffany also has experience working within collegiate athletics and non-profits.

Her passion for sports as a development tool transpired through her journey as a student-athlete and professional experience.  Tiffany has a Master of Liberal Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Tulane University, where she also received a full athletic and graduate assistant scholarship.  She is also a certified NASM personal trainer and enjoys teaching TRX classes.
