Vision

Our approach to community-based change connects volunteer and professional coaches, educators and schools, park and recreation systems, youth development professionals, social services organizations, and sports-based youth development non-profits.  Together, our Sport for Good communities will ensure more children and youth have access to high quality, youth-center sports programs, allowing communities across the U.S. to unleash the power of sport to improve physical and mental health, improve education and employment outcomes, and address critical social justice issues.

Mission

We are committed to using the power of sport to address the most challenging problems facing children and youth in our city.

About Our Team

Ben Schornack began working as a Program Manager with Laureus USA in December of 2017. Ben believes deeply in the power of sport to provide meaningful opportunities for youth, as well as healing for youth growing up in stressful or traumatic environments. Ben understands that this power is unlocked when leaders and stakeholders across the community merge assets and work together towards common solutions. Ben has worked towards this vision in New York City over the past five years, as a basketball coach, program manager, and most recently as the NYC Director for Up2Us Sports. At Laureus, Ben will manage the expansion of the Sport for Good model in an effort to build engaged cohorts in cities throughout America.
